Machines Have Eyes was co-written with Professor Anastasiia Raina and our research team at Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).

It directly corresponds to research done in Design Methodologies for Cyborg Natures, a graduate-level research course I co-taught with Prof Anastasiia Raina in summer 2020 at RISD.

This essay and the associated visual experimentations with AI were published in the book Big Data. Big Design: Why Designers Should Care About Machine Learning. This book enters the world of machine learning and artificial intelligence through a design lens, as a handbook of practical skills, technical knowledge, interviews, essays, and theory, written specifically for designers.
